Teacher Agreement
Thanks for becoming a teacher at Barefoot! This agreement applies to both class teachers and workshop teachers. We have very simple guidelines at our studio to become part of our teaching community.

2.0 Studio Liability Waiver
BAREFOOT SANCTUARY, WHOLE FOODS MARKET AT TOWN SQUARE ON LAS VEGAS BOULEVARD AND WHOLE FOODS MARKET IN SUMMERLIN ON CHARLESTON BOULEVARD WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
WAIVER: In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in the Barefoot Sanctuary inside Whole Foods Market at Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard and Whole Foods Market in Summerlin on Charleston Boulevard, I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives, or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and promise not to sue Whole Foods Market, Barefoot Sanctuary, Tam Tam Inc., its officers, employees, and agents for liability resulting from any and all claims and damages caused by the negligence of Whole Foods Market, Barefoot Sanctuary, Tam Tam Inc., its officers, employees, and/or agents, resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to my participation in the classes, workshops, and events offered in the Barefoot Sanctuary, including walking through the back of the store and/or using the stairs to gain access to the Barefoot Sanctuary.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I understand that participation in the classes, workshops, and events offered in the Barefoot Sanctuary carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary but range from 1) minor injuries such as sprains and strains, 2) join or back injuries, heart attacks and concussions to 3) catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death. I have read the previous paragraphs and I know, understand, and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in participation in any classes, workshops, and events offered in the Barefoot Sanctuary. I hereby assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks. I also understand that all yoga, dance, and fitness instructors will have their own liability insurance.
INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS: I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Whole Foods Market, Barefoot Sanctuary, Tam Tam Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, actions, suits procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, brought as a result of my involvement and participation in the classes, workshops, and events offered in the Barefoot Sanctuary and to reimburse Whole Foods Market, Barefoot Sanctuary, Tam Tam Inc., its officers, employees, and agents for any such expenses incurred.
SEVERABILITY: I further expressly agree that this wavier, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted under the laws of the State of Nevada and that if any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, not withstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
