Yoga in Las Vegas
From Suzanne, yoga practitioner -
I love yoga, been doing it just over 5 years now. Your experience may not be the same, but doing yoga, combined with living in Las Vegas–has led me to try new things. I have explored belly dance classes, meditation, kundalini yoga, and other types of movement.
Two of Whole Foods Las Vegas locations have yoga studios. Having a yoga studio where I like to shop is so convenient!
One of the best experiences I have had so far with Kundalini yoga in Las Vegas was a workshop I attended at one of the Whole Foods Las Vegas locations – Barefoot Sanctuary Town Square. At the start of the workshop, the room was filled with lively people and I was eager to see what we would do. I felt a little nervous too, because I knew this would be a new experience.
In the Kundalini yoga workshop, we practiced breathing, meditation and gentle movements. I felt light and free!
At the end of the workshop, we were rewarded with a relaxation period that included a bath of sound—from a gong. I know this sounds a bit strange, but the sounds were truly relaxing and invigorating.
You’re invited to try new things too! Embrace the variety that’s available here in Las Vegas and discover belly dance classes, meditation, Kundalini yoga, and other types of movement.

Yoga in Las Vegas
Yoga in Las Vegas? Doesn’t that sound like an oxymoron? Don’t you come to the Las Vegas strip to gamble, drink and party? Well yes, but after you’re done with that, find some balance with our vinyasa yoga, kundalini yoga, expressive yoga, handstand classes, belly dance classes, Acrofit and more!
We offer barefoot yoga – hence our name, Barefoot Sanctuary – where you can enjoy the comforts of an intimate, non-competitive studio environment. We have two studio locations: do yoga in Summerlin or do yoga at Town Square. Your class passes are valid for both studios.
Some people ask if we do strip yoga. Well, technically yes, we’re on the strip, and we do yoga. But you don’t strip in yoga! Enjoy a great yoga class with us at Barefoot Sanctuary, located inside the Whole Foods Market at Town Square and Summerlin.

Do We Have to Work Hard For It All to Balance Out?
Monkey bars, dance shows and tumbling all around the living room…. at 5 years old my parents knew I needed some safe instruction and sent me off to gymnastics. My dad brought me to a good school where the coaches there soon encouraged me to become a competitive team member. Cartwheels with no hands, backbends and big swings, high on the uneven bars opened the door for many fascinating physical feats and possibilities for me at young age. Read more
